Story

The Porto Supply Market was created in 1988 as a support infrastructure for the distribution and wholesale of agri-food products and flowers, succeeding the old Ferreira Borges and Sidónio Pais markets. Located on Rua Chaves de Oliveira in Campanhã, the Porto Supply Market emerged in the context of the reorganisation of the city's food supply circuits, adapting to growing urbanisation and the logistical demands of transporting and storing fresh produce.

Since then, it has been an essential hub for the food supply of the Porto Metropolitan Area, handling hundreds of tonnes of fruit and vegetables and thousands of vehicles every month.
