Programmatic pillar Settlement — Transformed territories
The Campanhã Valley constitutes a quite diverse and rich ecosystem, ranging from woods and fields to waterways and what we can call urban greenery that occupies the streets and paths on its walls, fences, and verges, especially where nature invades abandoned or decaying buildings. The vegetation that can be contemplated is of great singularity. This landscape can be seen along the ascending route of the Eastern Park of Porto, alternating between the banks of the Tinto River. In this sense, the walker uses a transformed and transformative green structure, traversing with feeling, seeing, looking, contemplating, and apprehending a territory that in itself accumulates an important part of the knowledge of working with Nature and creating unique spaces and experiences in the urban environment.
